Art Boxes
These reclaimed boxes started out as containers for scary looking dental tools! With a little love and creativity they are now ready to protect anything from your precious heirloom jewelry to a simple pair of eyeglasses. The image on top is a reproduction of one of my original paintings in which I collage my own photographs of flowers and plants with wax instead of glue. I often collage other materials into the wax medium, including dried plants, natural fibers, and handmade paper.
Each box is hand painted, lined with felt on the inside top and bottom and signed by the artist. The glass feet even have felt pads on them so you won't mar any tabletops while using your new art box. Each box is $40.
